Disclaimer : My premise on reviews is that the "judgement factor" should be subtle yet telling, comprising 30%of the actual review itself. The 70% should be articulation and presentation of facts, if these percentages deviate radically, then the reviews are reduced to a 'whim' or an 'insipid composition'.
Also, I believe that reviews are just meant for raking that initial intrest in watching or dismissing a movie. Any attempts to overtly patronize or criticize would undermine the viewer's ability to make his own jusgements.
